SPRING SHOW UPDATE

 

We hope you are all staying safe and keeping well in these trying times. This week has been a tough one for our team, and today we are mourning a little harder, as we stay home during what would’ve been our first Maker Day at the Spring Show. But the love and support in this community, and the many challenges we know you are facing, have only reinforced our commitment to provide makers with a platform to build a diverse and enduring business.

So, even though we can’t be together this week, we hope you’ll join us in our efforts to #bethebutterflyeffect and connect the One Of A Kind community online. Over the next few months, we’ll be sharing activities, helpful links and resources for makers and craft enthusiasts on our website and in our consumer newsletters. Want to get involved? Tag us or send us any content you have found helpful or submit a DIY activity or give-back initiative so that we can share your creativity with the community.
 

SPRING SHOW UPDATE

We are pleased to announce that, after tallying the votes, a majority of you are excited to invest in hope and build a new Spring Show with us!

REFUND TIMELINE REMINDER

Refunds will be issued based on original payment method.

  • Credit Card: 8 to 10 weeks.
    • Note: If the credit card you made the original payment with is no longer valid, you will be refunded via cheque (see timeline below).
  • Cheque: Cheques will be distributed to June 2020 exhibitors at the show or mailed in 14 to 16 weeks.
  • Cash: Refunds will be paid by cheque (see timeline above).

Please note that, in light of current situations regarding COVID-19 and event cancellation/postponement, our accounts payable team is experiencing a huge volume of activities. They are doing everything they can to get refunds out as quickly as possible. We understand the proposed time frame is not ideal, however, we want to make sure we are being open and transparent every step of the way so that you can be kept up to speed. Thank you for your understanding.

 

With the exceptional measures put into place—everything from school closures to social distancing—all of us are doing our part to ensure we can return to normalcy as soon as possible. Our health and safety are our priorities now, so let’s all take care of one another, and we will come out on the other side stronger and more united. We do not know what the future will hold, but we know the best we can do is to remain positive and to plan the best Spring Show we can deliver. We hope you will be able to join us, and we cannot wait to celebrate this amazing community when we meet again in person!

NEW 2020 SPRING EXHIBITORS



We are so glad that you will be joining us for our new Spring 2020 dates!

A reminder that, as a participant in the new Spring Show:

  • You will receive a 20% refund on your booth fees to account for the shortened duration.
  • Refund times will vary based on payment method. See below for more info.
  • Any orders placed for show services will automatically be moved forward to the new dates.

We know that these are uncertain times and, while we can’t predict the future, we are doing everything possible to make our June event a reality to help galvanize your business in the year ahead. But, if circumstances are such that it is impossible for us to go ahead as planned, please know that you will be able to transfer or refund your Spring booth fees.
 
We will officially restart our newsletters in May to share important updates and help get your show prep back on track. Until then, we’ll post updates to the Artisan Site and Facebook Group, and you can reach out to us here.
