My name is Nick Lafontaine and I am a professional commercial photographer working in Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal.

My team and I are excited to be back again as the official product photographer for vendors at the One Of A Kind Show. Take advantage of our services to bring your product photos or headshot to the next level! We'll be set up onsite, making it easy for you to get quality product photography done while you are at the show.

Book your slot now, then dropp off your product onsite. Each session is 45 minutes and, at the end of the day, you will have ready-to-use, white background product photos you can use for marketing, show applications, your website and online shops and more!

SERVICES


Product Photography: 45 mins for $200 + applicable taxes

  • In each 45 minute time slot, we have the ability to shoot up to 7 unique products.
    Want to book more time? Each artist has the opportunity to book as many sessions as they need within the five days. This is an option, however it is best to book well in advance to have optimum space as our time slots are extremely limited.
  • You can do group shots of multiple products. Depending on complexity of group shot 45 mins would likely give you between 4-6 individual group shots. 
  • Artist must drop off products 10-15 mins before their session starts (mandatory).
  • All images are being supplied to the One Of A Kind team, and there is a chance that the One Of A Kind Show could showcase your products in their future marketing, promotional and social media campaigns.
  • It is highly recommended to book early to ensure your space, especially if you are looking to book more than one slot in succession. 

Artist portrait session  $100

Fifteen minute individual portrait session.  All images taken during that session are included in high resolution. 

Booth Pictures: $50

  • Please send us an email to book your time.

Additional Products Added to a Session: $15 per extra product (max 3 additions)

  • Please note, we do not rush this experience in order to get more product shots in during the session. Adding in more products per session only applies after we have taken 7 great product shots. 

Product Pick-Up/Drop-Off: Free

  • Option for vendors who are alone to have their product picked up and dropped back off by our staff before and after each session.
  • It's free, just mention you require this service when booking your time.
  • Note: products that are being picked up must be available for pick up between 20-25 minutes before the artist's session begins. 

Cut Out Product from Background Option: $5 extra per image 

  • Note, the cut out option pricing is added onto your order during your payment of your session. You will receive the final cut out images via email approximately one week after the show. However a DVD of the original retouched images is made and given to you during the day of your session.This is due to the extra time that it takes our team to do the cut out.
  • This cut out option is only done if needed. Once the product is cut out of the background, you have the ability to add it on any colour, texture, or 100% white background. 

Examples of cut out option:

  • If your product is very large it might look better to cut it out and place it on the perfect background.
  • You can have the option to line up your products seamlessly on one page as if they were all taken in one big room. Great for marketing and catalog printing or poster design where you need a seamless background in a specific colour range as well.

Q: Can you come see me before I book? I have a few questions.

Q: Do you do booth pictures?
* Yes I do. Simply email me your booth number and I will come and see you to plan a time.  50$  

Q: Parlez vous Français?
*Oui, nous offrons nos services en français et en anglais.
 
Q: What is the cost per artisan?
* The cost of the photography session is $200 + tax, for a 45 min session. 
* The remaining balance is paid at the end of their scheduled session via credit card  or cash only.

 Q: How long will each session take? 
* It is 45 min max for each session. 
* Artist can book more then one session during the ooak show.
* The session stops after the 45 mins.
* Artist must drop off products 10-15 mins before their session starts ( mandatory).

Q: How many products will be shot during each session?
* The 45 mins gives the artist approximately 7 product shots depending on the complexity of the merchandise.
* You can do group shots of multiple products. Depending on complexity of group shot 45 mins would likely give you between 4-6 individual group shots.

Q: Is there an option to have you or your staff pick up and drop off the product. If yes, how much does it cost?

Q: What does the total package include?
* Professional photographer for a 45 min session.
* 7 professional grade product photos on white background.
* 7 images are lightly retouched if needed by a photo editor on site.   
* Images are put onto DVD and given to the client the same day.
* Customer service rep and photographer are on site during the entire show.

Q: What kind of product can you shoot?
* We have the ability to adapt, change and modify our set up and props to uniquely qualify ourselves to each individual artist. Food, ceramic, fashion, woodworking, furniture, rug makers, lamp and glass artists, each one is a new and exciting challenge. Some artists have fought for years with their inability to get great photos to really showcase their work! A 6 foot x 8 foot rug for example can be really tricky to navigate and get into a shot. A piece of transparent glass can also be very tricky to navigate but with proper lighting, photo gear and a lot of experience under my belt- we make it easy for these clients! 

Q: What props should a vendor bring to the photo shoot?
* The vendor is responsible to bring any props for the purpose of displaying the product for the photos. It is important that each vendor takes the time to think of unique and thoughtful methods of displaying ones product for great photos. Props include everything from display busts and stands to display products, produce and cheese for plates, etc.

Q: Do you book photo shoots outside of the time of the show?
* Yes we do! Our studio on wheels allows us to go to a clients location/studio or even rent studio space between Toronto - Ottawa - Montreal. Feel free to contact us at any point in the year to discuss your photo shoot needs: photolafontaine@gmail.com

* Au cours du One Of A Kind, Il est fortement recommandé de réserver tôt pour assurer votre espace, surtout si vous planifier réserver plus d'une session qui se succède.
* La session est payable par carte de crédit ou en espèces ou etransfer seulement, à la fin de votre session.
* L’Artisan doit obligatoirement s’assurer de déposer les produits ciblés de  10-15 minutes  avant le début de la session.
* Nous sommes une entreprise bilingue (français –anglais) et offrons les commodités selon votre choix linguistique.

7 photos retouchées

Session Portrait d’artist. 

15 min, par personne.  Toutes les images pris pendant la session seront livrée en haut résolution.

Un artiste peut photographié plus de 7 produit dans leur séance de 45 min

Un supplément de $15.00 est applicable sur les produits supplémentaires.
Il est à noté que les ajouts de produits supplémentaires seront admissibles seulement après la réussite des  7 photos retenus. Si le temps de session le permet, un ajout de 1-5 produit peut être accepté.
S'il vous plaît noter que s'il y a le temps Nous pouvons peut-être faire plus de 1-3 produits de plus.
 

Une option gratuit s’offre aux vendeurs seuls qui voudraient que notre personnel ramasse vos produits et les retourner par la suite.

Simplement nous envoyé un email pour nous le dire.  
Les produits qui seront ramassés doivent être disponibles pour ramasser entre 20-35 minutes avant le début de la session de l'artiste.

 


 Q: Qu'est-ce que le paquet total comprend?
* Photographe professionnel pour une séance de 45 min.
* 7 photos professionnelles de produits de qualité sur fond blanc.
* 7 images sont légèrement retouchés si nécessaire par un éditeur de photos sur place. 
* Les images sont mises sur DVD et remis au client le jour même.
* Représentant du service à la clientèle et photographe sur le site pendant la duré du show.
 

Q: Quel type de produit pouvez-vous photographier?
Nous avons la capacité d’adapter notre mise en place afin de mettre en valeur vos objets et produits quelques soit la nature afin de bien cerner l’âme du produit.
Il n’est pas évidents de travailler avec les céramiques, meubles , verres  bois pour en nommés quelques uns  mais ceux-ci nous inspire à trouver l’unique angle qui sera satisfaire notre passion du défi que vous nous confierai. 
En un exemple , un tapis de  6 pieds x 8 de pied  peut être vraiment difficile à  photographier ainsi qu’un vase transparent . Mais avec un bon éclairage,  du matériel photo et beaucoup d'expérience on rend ça facile pour vous.
 
Q: Qu'est-ce que les accessoires d'un artist peux apporter à la séance photo?
* L’artiste est responsable d'apporter tous les accessoires ( Props) dans le but d'afficher le produit pour les photos. Il est important que chaque artiste prend le temps de penser à des méthodes uniques et réfléchie pour afficher les produits pour les photos. Props comprennent tout, de bustes et de supports pour afficher les produits.

Q: Avez-vous un studio de photos en dehors du One Of A Kind?
* Oui! Notre studio sur roues nous permet d'aller à un emplacement clients / studio ou même louer des studios entre Toronto - Ottawa - Montréal. Ne hésitez pas à nous contacter à tout moment de l'année pour discuter vos besoins photo shoot: photolafontaine@gmail.com/www.nicklafontaine.com
* Vous pouvez également nous expédier les produits et nous pouvons les photographié et les renvoyer à vous. En fonction de la taille des produits, cela a fonctionné très bien pour les entreprises que nous avons travaillé dans le passé.
